IGNOU B.ED Admission 2023-24: Eligibility, Apply, Admission, Course details: The Indira Gandhi National Open University shortly named IGNOU is going to admit new batches of students for the BACHELOR OF EDUCATION PROGRAMME Programme in 2024. This B.ED course is a minimum of 2 years to a maximum of 5 years duration course. The online application process for this IGNOU B.ED. admission programme will open till 25.12.2023 so this admission is going to start again for a new batch for 2024-26 session. So this will be a great opportunity for those who want to start their teaching career. The course fee is Rs 55,000 and the application form fees is Rs 1000.

IGNOU B.ED Eligibility

An engineering degree holder, bachelor’s degree holder, or master’s degree holder can do this course very easily. And if we discuss bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees, then we will see that there are courses on science subjects, social science subjects, commerce, or humanities.

But those who completed an engineering degree must have a science or mathematics specialization. But in this case, there is a matter of minimum eligible marks. Because if someone is a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree holder then they must get 50% marks in their specialized subject and if someone is from an engineering background then they need to get 55% marks with specialized subject science or mathematics only then they can apply.
