MYSY Scholarship is a unique initiative of the Education Department of the Gujarat Government to provide financial support through scholarships to the students of Gujarat. MYSY stands for Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana. Students can complete their registration for MYSY scholarship @ mysy.guj.nic.in. This merit based scheme is for students who belong to economically backward families in Gujarat. After the registration, students can get their scholarship amount in their bank account through direct benefit transfer method.
Eligible courses for this program includes Medical, Dental, Graduation, and Diploma courses. Also students of Bsc , BCA ,BA, BBA etc courses are also eligible to apply in this scheme. The last registration and apply date of this MYSY scholarship is March 13, 2024. Interested applicants can therefore complete the registration process for this scholarship scheme by visiting the mysy.guj.nic.in portal before the last date.
MYSY Scholarship 2024 Registration
The MYSY Scholarship Scheme is known as Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana whose registration process can be done through the portal mysy.guj.nic.in. Students must complete the Fresh application registration process before apply. MBBS course students, dental course students, professional graduation courses like Engineering, B Pharm, BE, diploma courses and other courses like BBA, BA, BSC, BCom or BCA etc students are eligible to apply if they obtained more than 80% marks in class 10/class 12 (HSC).

But students annual Family income must be below 6 lakh rupees. But applicants must keep in mind that this scheme is for self finance courses and after the approval, applicants will get 50% of the annual tuition fee. The registration process is as follows
- Visit the official portal https://mysy.guj.nic.in
- Navigate to Fresh Application from Login/Register for 2023-24
- Now select Registration under the Login dashboard
- Now select Commissionarate (e.g Technical, Medical, Higher, Agriculture, Nursing etc)
- Also select admission after class 10/12 or Diploma
- This time select the board or university like Gujarat Board, CBSE, NIOS,ICSE or IB Board.
- Select the stream like science or general
- Provide the passing year like Class 10,12 or Diploma.
- Provide admission year or mention the first year of your course.
- Then the enrollment number or Seat should be given.
- After that the name of the applicant should be filled exactly the name on his mark sheet.
- Give the applicant’s mobile number and click on the Get password to receive the password in your provided mobile number.

To do the login, students have to follow some basic steps. After completing the registration process, students can login to their dashboard after providing all the following details like departments, year of admission, board, Name, passing year of class 10, 12 or diploma, admission year etc. The login process is as follows

- Navigate to Fresh Application from Login/Register for 2023-24
- Now select Commissionarate/departments (e.g Technical, Medical, Higher, Agriculture, Nursing etc)

How to apply For MYSY Scholarship For 2023-24 AY
After the registration and login process, we can apply for the scheme. The steps are given here.
Candidate Information
In the candidate information part, a candidate can view all the information he/she has provided while participating in the previous registration process. Additionally, he/she has to provide Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Aadhaar Number, Ration Card Number.
Parents/Guardians details
Now applicant has to provide parents or guardian details, mother’s name, mother’s occupation, father’s name or guardian’s name, guardian’s mobile number, occupation, annual income of parents , total annual family income, parent’s PAN card number if BPL than BPL number.
Residential Address details
In this part of present residential address, the applicant’s address, district, taluka, city or village, pin code, mobile number, email ID should be given.
Bank account details
Then the candidate has to give his bank account information. First of all he has to select his state, district, select the bank name, branch name, IFSC code, savings account number and update the profile with all these information.
Admission Entry Details
Now the candidate has to go to the admission entry section. In this part the candidates have to provide their class 12 school name, school address, village, passing year, month, percentage, aggregate percentile etc. Candidate also need to provide admission details like university name, course name, institute name, branch name, institute type, and address.
Hosteler Details
Then candidate has to give his/her hostel details if he/she is a hosteler then save.
Upload Documents
After that the candidate has to upload his documents in JPG, JPEG or PDF format. If documents is in JPG or JPG format then the maximum upload size will be 500 KB and if PDF documents then the maximum size will be 3 MB.
Lock and Submit Application
Finally applicant has to lock and submit the application to successfully perticipate in the MYSY scholarship 2023-24 scheme.
MYSY Scholarship Renewal Process
- Visit mysy.guj.nic.in
- Now candidate have to select Login/Register for 2023-24 then renewal
- Enter Admission after (Class 10/class 12/diploma), Board, stream, passing year, scholarship application year, enrollment number, password, captcha.
- Then click on login
- Now select Renewal application
- Enter bank details
- Now again enter your yearly tution and other fees
- Navigate to Scan documents to upload necessary documents (like fee receipt) in JPG,JPEG or PDF format
- Then navigate again to Lock Application option to Lock your renewal application
- Finally you’ll get a confirmation message in your registered mobile number. Thats all
MYSY Student Status Check Process For Fresh and Renewal Application
To check the student status for fresh or renewal application, you have to visit mysy.guj.nic.in. The next process is as follows
- Go to the above mentioned portal
- Navigate to Student Status
- Now select the class and regarding board
- Select the application type like Fresh or renewal
- Select again HSC stream, passing year, seat number, password and captcha
- Now click on Get Student details
