Eligibility Of Krishak Bandhu Scheme

• The applicant farmer must be a resident of West Bengal state.
• Must have cultivable land to participate in this scheme.
• Applicant farmers who have less than 1 acre or more of cultivable land are eligible to apply.
• A farmer should have a Parcha/ Patta/ Forest Department Patta of cultivable land in his own name or be a registered share cultivator.

Benefits Of Krishak Bandhu

Beneficiary farmers can get financial assistance from minimum Rs 4000 to maximum Rs 10000 per year through this scheme. Farmers who have less than 1 acre of land will get a minimum of 4000 rupees as financial assistant and all the farmers who have 1 acre or more will get 10000 rupees annually. This financial assistance will be given by the government in two installments in a year to the farmer’s account through Direct Benefit Transfer or DBT method.
