Aikyashree Scholarship is an educational financial assistance program for minority students of West Bengal organized by the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation of the Government of West Bengal under the Department of Minority Affairs and Madrasa Education Department. The main focus of this program is to reduce the drop-out rate of minority students. Mainly through Aikyashree Scholarship, pre-matric post-matric and merit cum mean scholarship are provided. Minority students get important educational assistance like tuition fees, admission fees, maintenance allowance through this scholarship.

Aikyashree Scholarship 2024

All the students who wish to apply for the Aikyashree Scholarship Program in 2024-25 academic year can complete the fresh registration by visiting the official portal https://wbmdfcscholarship.in portal before the last date September 30, 2024. Through this scholarship program, minority students from class 1 to UG/PG/doctoral/professional courses (i.e. Medical Engineering Law etc) will benefit. Under Aikyashree Scholarship, there are four categories of scholarships including pre-matric i.e. scholarships for students from class 1 to class 10, post matric i.e. scholarships for students from class 11 to Undergraduate, post graduate or Ph.D. courses, Merit cum Means i.e. Scholarships for Professional or Technical Course students and TSP i.e. Talent Support Scholarship. Aikyashree scholarship eligibility (School student, UG and PG)

An applicant must have a clear understanding of the eligibility criteria before applying on the Aikyashree Scholarship Portal. That is why now we will discuss these eligibility criteria so that an applicant can understand what eligibility is mandatory to participate in this scholarship program.

• Applicant must be permanent resident of West Bengal state.
• Only students belonging to minority category can participate in this scholarship program.
• For pre matric scholarship an applicant must have annual family income between Rs 2 lakh and for post matric or MCM category scholarship, applicant’s annual family income should be below Rs 2.5 lakh.
• The applicant must be enrolled in any class or course belonging to a recognized school institute or university of West Bengal State.
• The applicant must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the last final exam.
• Students can only register one application through a particular mobile number.
• Students can only apply for one scholarship.
• Student must have a bank account in his/her own name. For pre-matric scholarship, students can submit their parents or gurdians bank account.

Aikyashree scholarship New Registration 2024-25

Aikyashree scholarship registration last date is September 30, 2024. All the students who are interested in participating in the Aikyashree Scholarship Program in the academic year 2024-25, must first complete the Fresh or New registration and then apply online. Properly registering and applying for the scholarship plays an important role for an applicant. So now we will explain the scholarship registration process in detail so that an applicant can easily complete his online registration process. Basically the registration process of the scholarship will be completed in four steps which include “Student Information, Scheme Eligibility, Registration, and Students Login”. Lets check all the steps.

• Applicants must first visit the official portal of West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation https://wbmdfcscholarship.in.
• Then the applicant has to select the students area option. After that the applicant will be shown several options in the student panel. Select Fresh Registration 2024-25.
• In the next step the student has to select the district of his institute i.e. select the district in which the institute is located.
• Now, in the student information part, basically the domicile state of the student can be seen, along with that the domicile district has to be selected and according to the district, block or municipality has to be selected.
• After that the student’s name, middle name, last name along with father’s name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth, mobile number, bank account number, IFSC code, should be given.
• Then in the Scheme Eligibility Part the student has to give his/her Institution District, Institute Location, Block, Present Institution Name, Present Class or Course Name, Last Exam Name, Last Board/Council/University Name, Percentage of Marks obtained in Last Exam, Annual Family Income, Email id etc.
• After that the student has to create a password and then he has to click on ‘submit and proceed’ option.

In the next step applicants will see a message of ‘Registration’ Successful where applicants will also see their ‘Application ID’ and an option to take a print out of the application. Aikyashree scholarship Login

In order to login, one will need user ID and password as login credential. So let’s see how a student can login to that Aikyashree portal.

• First of all, the student has to login to Aikyashree portal https://wbmdfcscholarship.in/.
• Then the student has to click on the Students Area option.
• After that the student has to select the Registered Student’s Login option.
• Then student login page will open where a registered student has to provide his username, password, academic session, and district.
• Next, solve a captcha and click on login.
• Finally, through OTP validation, students can login to Aikyashree portal

Aikyashree scholarship 2024 apply online

When an applicant logs into the dashboard of Aikyashree scholarship portal, he can see his pre-given details in the basic information part. For example, his name, parent’s name, date of birth, mobile number, annual family income, etc. But now we will discuss the remain steps that a student has to complete.

1. Provide basic details and Address: After login, in the basic information part, Marital Status and Parent’s Name must be provided and then the student must provide his/her Permanent Address details like Post Office Pin Code etc. Along with this, the applicant should also provide his present address details, if the permanent address and present address are the same, then select the same as permanent address option.
2. Other Information: In the next step the student has to provide other information like Banglar sikhya Portal ID, Aadhaar Number, Name as per Aadhaar and the student also has to select whether he has applied for any other state or central government scholarship.
3. Declaration: Finally students have to select the declaration option and click on ‘submit and proceed’ option.
4. Academic Information: In the academic information part, student can see his/her institution name and present course or class details as it was given earlier during registration. Then student has to select his/her hosteler details i.e. whether he/she is staying in hostel and also select the name of board/university or council. Also course duration to be selected.
5. Submit: Now click on submit and proceed option.
6. Bank Information: In the bank account details option, the student can see his bank name, branch name, IFSC code and bank account number as it was given while completing the registration. Then select the declaration option and select submit and proceed.
7. Preview: Then a preview will be shown of the entire application process we have completed.
8. Lock Application: If our provided information is correct then we will verify and submit the application. Then we have to lock the application.

If any editing is required, we can also edit the application before verifying and locking. However, once the application is locked, there will be no further editing. In this way, an eligible student can complete the online application for the Aikyashree scholarship Program.

Aikyashree scholarship amount

Pre Matric: Day scholar students from class 1 to class 5 will get educational assistance Rs 1100. Day scholar students from class 6 to class 10 will get educational assistance Rs 5500 and hosteller students will get Rs 11000.

Post Matric: Day scholar students from Class 11 to Class 12 will get educational benefit of Rs Rs 10200 and hosteller students will get Rs 11900.

Post Matric (Vocational/Technical): Day scholar Students who enrolled in Vocational or Technical program will get Rs 13500 and hosteller students will get Rs 15200.

Post Matric (UG/PG): Day scholar Students who enrolled in Undergraduate (UG) or Post graduate (PG) program will get Rs 6600 and hosteller students will get Rs 9600.

Post Matric (Doctoral): Day scholar Students who enrolled in doctoral program (M.Phil/PhD) will get Rs 9300 and hosteller students will get Rs 16500.

MCM (Merit cum Means): Day scholar Students (Technical/Professional course) under MCM scholarship will get Rs 27500 and hosteller students will get Rs 33000.
